L plater disqualified for three months for drink driving | The North West Star

A Mount Isa woman has been convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol while on a learner licence without an open licenced occupant. Coreen Sharbon Corporal, 29, pleaded guilty in Mount Isa Magistrates Court on Wednesday April 7, to three offences including driving over the general alcohol limit but not over the middle limit, failing to drive with a supervised open licenced driver and failing to display L plates. Police Prosecutor Nathaniel Gillis said on March 20 around 4.45pm, police were conducting patrols and intercepted a vehicle on Burke Street, Mount Isa. “Police conducted a breath analysis of the defendant which returned a reading of 0.069.
